Trail Cam Critters 2026
We find video footage from trail cams to be fascinating. Maybe just because it’s in our yard, or maybe because it’s of critters we like to look at. I get the same level of excited each time I see a coyote, or racoon, or deer, or fox, or moose, or the one-time lynx on the cameras in our yard. Sometimes the ducks and geese wander up into the yard from the lake but rarely far enough to trigger the cameras. We have had a few grouse walking around as well. I was hunting last Spring with another guy that has the same approach, any critter on a trail cam is interesting. He showed me postings of many of his trail cam captures and he had a very good variety, very interesting. Far more interesting than the news feed on my phone. We hope you think a few of these are interesting as well so we have posted them here. Oh, I lied, not all critters are as interesting as all others. You will see limited postings of rabbits, squirrels, and crows and magpies. Just not as interesting, unless they are doing something extraordinary, such as the 4 bunnies zoomies video. We do also get the occasional dog off-a-leash video or a human chasing after a dog -off-a-leash. Not as interesting as real wildlife so that doesn’t make the cut. For the most part, the trail cam videos are chronological. Sometimes the camera lenses get wet or dirty so we lose some video quality until we get a chance to clean them. We move the camera locations every now and then to get some different angles.
