Do you prefer to shoot geese with a standard 12 gauge shotgun or do you prefer the added power and range of a 10 gauge? Most waterfowl hunters shoot a 3-1/2 inch 12 gauge shell, ranging from #2 shot to BBB for geese. Some hunters will pull out the heavy artillery of a 10 gauge gun which has more knock down power than a 12 gauge, but also has a stronger recoil on the shooter’s shoulder. Your opinion?
