Fishing in a shallow weedy bay in early August. I used a small leech imitation with my fly rod, and long strips, to land about 50 perch in a couple hours of fishing. Many many more hits, and many fish on for a few seconds.

Caught with a bottom bouncer and trailing spinner.
Current Rating: 4This fish weighed 17.3 pounds and wasn't the biggest fish i caught that day but was the biggest cabazon i have ever caught. He took an oversized Slug-Go that was rainbow in color and put up a good fight. Didn't taste bad either.

Maybe no monster pike or big walleyes but had a blast catching little Perch of the dock on a fly rod. Flies that worked were a crystal bead head leach, elk hair caddis and a small red head leach.
